Anchorage is fortunate to have a vibrant, active community. Mayor Sullivan has placed a high priority on fostering the sense of community that makes Anchorage such a great place to live, work and play. Whether it's serving a hot meal to the homeless or homebound, auctioning off items for local charities, or turning the podium over at his weekly media briefings to non-profits trying to spread the word about their programs, Mayor Sullivan has shown a strong committment to the many community partners that work everyday to make Anchorage a better place to call home.
